Art—Talking 2
Have you ever wondered how the environment might inspire an artist who works in the theatre?
Kate Hunter is a performing artist who makes cross-disciplinary, sound-driven and immersive live theatre. In this public presentation, she outlines her residency undertaken at the Bogong Centre for Sound Culture, which is framed and refracted by a photographic diary of one of her father’s walks through the High Plains in the summer of 1944-1945. Some of the material collected over this residency will go toward a new performance, Blue Streak.
