Amy Hicks is an artist, educator, and a member of the artist collective Grizzly Grizzly. She develops projects that contrast speculative fiction with histories of medicine, feminism, and political movements to understand the impact of belief systems on the individual and social body. Her collaborative projects and award-winning films and videos have exhibited in museums, galleries, and from Pacific Film Archive (Berkeley) to Institute of Contemporary Art (Philadelphia) to Galerija Miroslav Kraljevic (Zagreb, Croatia).
