The artist-talk that we held in the middle of this week at the library in Mount Beauty was a nice event to connect
with some local residents of this area. The people attending were very interested in the presentations of our diverse
art practices, I was astonished at the large number of questions they asked. My former experiences with these
kind of talks is that the audience doesn’t ask questions at all. In addition it was a good opportunity to learn more
about the works of the other artists in residence.

For our final presentation in Bogong Village on Saturday that we’ve termed ‘AIR-interventions’ the weather seemed to
dislike our undertaking. Though it has been sunny almost all through the two weeks of our stay here, it was pouring with
rain this day from early morning on. So we had to dispose our equipment to prevent it getting wet. I was actually a bit
concerned about my gear enduring this kind of heavy rain. Also we were a little doubtful for the people coming to this
outdoor event in such uninviting conditions. But then just about half an hour before we started the walk to the different
locations around the village the rain stopped and the audience was arriving just in time. All in all the presentation lasted
about two hours and we had a very good dinner all together afterwards in the old school building, which was a nice ending
 for the whole event.
