Topography of Dreams
Topography of Dreams is a culmination of three durational residencies in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Over a three year period Philip Samartzis and Madelynne Cornish participated in Tura’s Regional Residencies Program. This program was established to create an intercultural dialogue between residential artists and the indigenous communities of Western Australia’s Kimberley region.
During their residencies Samartzis and Cornish engaged with the communities through a series of cultural activities, which included in schools demonstrations, workshops, mentoring and public performances.
