Already one week here and the feeling that the time overflowed. So many sounds to record, different landscapes for a variety of acoustic places, which can underline so many stories about the valley.
Water is everywhere and it is a challenge to find the right places where this white noise is not present. Nevertheless, it is always the same stupefaction to listen that everyone and everything has its own place in the frequency range.
The photo is of Rocky Valley, up in Victoria’s High Plains. Last recording … Some clouds and fog, which arrived later. The atmosphere goes well with all these white dead trees, testimonies of the last bush fire ten years ago. Some wind and crows flying around us.
