In this valley filled with water, I dipped my camera to take pictures.
The presence of the Kiewa hydro-electric scheme looms here. The power stations, the dams, the artificial lakes become icons comparable to the monumental symbols of the past. The landscape made of light, surfaces and contrasts, express a spiritual and mysterious presence. The images that emerge, through the eloquent water element, trace a new scheme where everything loses its structure, its consistency and in the distortion of movement redefines its meaning.
These images, sometimes abstract, often blurred, ironic and paradoxical, interpret my concept of reality and help me to reflect on how much vision and perception is a fusion of small and large schemes.
